⁶ In the morning it ^(A)flourishes and ^[a]sprouts anew;
Toward evening it ^(B)fades and ^(C)withers away.

⁷ For we have been ^(D)consumed by Your anger
And by Your wrath we have been ^[b]dismayed.
⁸ You have ^(E)placed our iniquities before You,
Our ^(F)secret sins in the light of Your presence.
